Pain and Health Management
Chronic pain and illness can have significant impacts on your life and relationships, such as loss of independence and not being able to do all the active things you previously enjoyed doing. Depression and anxiety are also common in people with chronic pain and illness. While it can be difficult to come to terms with acknowledging that chronic pain and illness may not be cured, you and your family can learn ways to cope and manage.
I have extensive experience helping individuals and their families manage the difficulties of living with chronic pain and illness. Through using recent discoveries in neuroscience to psychological interventions, mindfulness, movement, and connecting with your values, I will support you and your family to learn ways to manage your symptoms so you can re-engage in authentic and heartfelt living. I will work in collaboration with your medical and health professional team to help you achieve your goals.
