Couples Therapy
Rebuilding safety. Rekindling connection. Remembering each other with new eyes.
Relationships are living things — they breathe, stretch, change, and sometimes struggle to hold their shape. Even the strongest partnerships can lose their rhythm: conversations become tense, distance grows, or small misunderstandings accumulate until they feel like walls.
Couples often come to me when they feel stuck in cycles that neither partner wants, but both keep falling into.
My role is to help you slow down, understand how these patterns formed, and gently uncover what each of you is longing for beneath the frustration, silence, or hurt.
How I Work With Couples
I integrate three evidence-based approaches:
PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy)
PACT helps us understand your nervous systems — how each partner responds to stress, closeness, or threat. We explore how your bodies communicate even when words fail: the subtle cues, the micro-movements, the rapid shifts that happen before either of you can think.
With this awareness, you can learn how to soothe each other, stay regulated, and build a felt sense of safety.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT helps us uncover the attachment needs beneath conflict. Often, the fight isn’t really about the dishes or the budgeting — it’s about feeling unseen, unheard, or alone. EFT helps partners reconnect in a way that is emotionally honest and deeply bonding.
Gottman Method
The Gottman Method provides practical tools: communication skills, ways to repair after conflict, and habits that strengthen friendship and trust.

What You Can Expect
Sessions are experiential, interactive, and compassionate. I take an active role in helping you notice what happens beneath the surface — the emotional cues, the moments of misattunement, the places where tenderness is waiting but unspoken.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s building a relationship where both of you feel safe to be yourselves, to reach for each other, and to repair when things go wrong.
